The Ann Arbor Club of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Clubs, Inc. (www.aananbpwc.org) is extremely pleased to announce its 40th Annual MLK Jr. Brunch Celebration. This momentous event salutes Dr. King's memory and his legacy . The event will be held on Saturday, January 13th, 2024 at 11:30 AM ET, at the DoubleTree by Hilton, 3600 Plymouth Rd, Ann Arbor Michigan. Come together with friends, family, community members and leaders to honor the legacy of Dr. King and his tireless fight for equality and justice.
The MLK Jr. Brunch Celebration 2023 includes a full brunch including your favorite breakfast foods as well as entrees from savory to delectable to deliciously sweet. Our keynote speaker is Victoria Burton-Harris, Chief Assistant Prosecutor for Washtenaw County. The entertainment planned to get everyone grooving in and out of their seats will be provided by the amazing Alise King Experience (MotorCity Detroit band). There will also be a silent auction and a few other surprises along the way.
Over the years, your generous support has helped us provide over 186 scholarships to deserving high school students and to establish an endowment at Washtenaw Community College for beginning & returning students as well as adult learners. The Ann Arbor Club works collaboratively with other community organizations to enhance educational opportunities, impact physical development, health initiatives, and fosters good fellowship to continue to support our efforts to make a difference.
The 40th Annual MLK Celebration will offer ad space in our Program Booklet and on our website (www.aananbbwc.org) that provides a wonderful way for you to advertise your business. We are confident this will provide maximum visibility to your business and show others you support the community. As a 501c(3) tax-exempt organization, we rely on your contribution to help support our various service projects and scholarships.
